Bring your creative kid to FEAST Arts Center this summer to explore the world of fine art with local artists! Each morning of this exciting 3 day camp, we'll stretch our writing muscles, learning how to write about what we feel, see, and imagine through journaling, freewriting, poetry, and writing comic books.

Every afternoon, we'll learn how to express our internal selves with visual media, learning skills like color theory, watercolor painting, and drawing while we connect our hearts, minds, and hands!

Each day of camp runs from 9 AM-3 PM, with a lunch break and short snack-and-stretch break included. Snack is provided, please send a lunch with your child. All art supplies will be provided.

Krista Johnson is a Tacoma native, studied painting and printmaking at WWU, and currently works at the University of Puget Sound. For many years she taught youth art workshops and classes through city programs while living in Los Angeles, California.

Stella Bell Kemper is a sculptor, designer, and teacher from Austin, Texas. She is currently the manager of the Auburn Makerspace, where she teaches art and technology classes for children, teens, and adults. You can see more of her work at stella-bell.com
